Selma Muhič Dizdarevič ****************************************************************************************** * In Brief ****************************************************************************************** Selma Muhič Dizdarevič is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts, University of Belgrade. She d doctoral thesis entitled “Immigration and Integration Policies of the European Union and t Republic and their Relation to the Civil Society Organizations and Other Relevant Stakehol Czech Republic” at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. She has supervised theses. From September 2010 until September 2012 she served as the Department Head. She also served as a member of the Academic Senate at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles U She focuses on organized civil society and public immigration and integration policy, the multiculturalism, the history of human rights and the phenomenon of extreme social exclusi She was the principal investigator or coinvestigator of GAUK projects and a number of inte projects, including “Combating Social Exclusion among Young Homeless Populations” funded u Framework Programme of the EU. She is a member of the International Sociological Association, Association for the Study o and a member of the board of the Czech Helsinki Committee, a nongovernmental organization rights. There, she also served as the Executive Director in 2009-2010.
